Although it made it so much harder when he left for work today for four days. To make things worse, he had to be there by noon since they had a training and then he has to work all night long.
So, the kids and I are working on getting a new routine of it just being us for three to four days a week until he gets his transfer. We just learned that he can put in for his transfer next month but, it won't go into effect until October... boohoo! We thought he'd be able to transfer in July if he put in in April. Oh well, we'll survive. Parker is completely confused with Chris being gone at this point. He said goodbye to daddy this morning, watched him drive away but, five or six times during the day he'd go to the garage door and try and open it and look at me and say "Daddy?" It's definitely going to be an adjustment.
Anyway, today was Brynn's first ballet lesson here, she had a great time until the end of class when they got stickers and all the other girls got pony stickers and she didn't since they ran out and she ended up with a sticker with a little girl on it with an umbrella. She was so unhappy, oh the drama. Tomorrow she has her gymnastics class, hopefully that goes better. Then we are going to go get me signed up at the gym here and Brynn can join the swim team through the gym. I still don't know about the team but, she'll definitely be doing swim lessons there.
For the last two weeks we've been busy moving, painting, and working on the yard. We got all the painting done except for the trim, thank goodness! The front yard is done! The backyard is another story.... We are still getting the house organized here which I should be getting it all put back together now that the painting is almost complete.
So, that's what's been going on with us! Sorry I've been slow on posting.

Routines are good. They're good for you and good for the kids. I definitely think it somewhat helps with the craziness in life. Congrats on finishing up projects. It definitely feels good, doesn't it!
