Can you believe it's already been a year since Chris graduated the academy!? And it's been a year and a half since this all began. I am so proud of Chris. He loves his job and wouldn't trade it for anything. On his year anniversary he had to work so, on Monday we had some friends over for a BBQ. We have truely found some amazing friends throughout this expirence. They always know what you are going through because they've been there too. Chris currently is working graves and is loving it but, is really missing his sleep. So, hopefully once his transfer takes effect October 1st he'll have enough seniority to get a dayshift position. From the sounds of it, it will probably be possible. Which would be nice since Brynn starts school in a week and a half.
On another note, we went to Parker's neurology appointment at Oakland for his passing out stuff. We are headed back next week for an EEG test. They will monitor his brain waves for about two hours. Half the time will be spent with him awake and the other half he'll be asleep. The doctor is thinking that what we are dealing with is probably a combination of breath holding spells and a minor seizure disorder at most. She said that we'll know the results of the EEG probably the same day. If they find anything they probably won't treat it, the test is more to just have an answer. So, that's where we are at. I was pretty excited to see that Parker is still growing. Although, he is still small for his age he IS growing! He measured 33.5 inches tall and 26 pounds. He's in the 5th percentile for height, just like before and the 10th percentile for weight. His head though.... I don't remember the exact measurement but, he's well above the 100th percentile... dang Alves head. Anyway, I'll update next week after the test.
