Brynn's swim lessons
We had a great week. Brynn finished up her third week of school and she's having a blast making new friends. She started swimming lessons again. She passed her Advanced Preschool swimming on Tuesday and now she's working on her freestyle swimming which she's almost got down. We just have to get her to take her breaths and then she'd pass that. Maybe this week. Chris had his three day work week so, we had four days off together. It was great. We didn't really do much, we took the kids to the Oakland Zoo on Saturday. I have to say I think I liked it better than the San Francisco Zoo and it was cheaper which makes it even better! It was a great day. On Friday I took Parker to the eye doctor since we had noticed that one of his eyes was turning in occasionally. The doctor said he does have a slight lazy eye but, it's not anything to worrk about at this time since it's not bad at all. He said more concerning to him was that when he looked into his eye he noticed some minor damage to the eyes on the inside. He said that when a baby is premature and under oxygen therapy they have a greater risk of eye damage, so, he figures it's not too severe since Parker is tracking things and noticing things at a distance. He said he'd take a closer look in a year when he can dialate his eyes and get a good look inside. He said that Parker wouldn't be very cooperative at this age for it. So, for now things are alright, he said if we notice any changes to come back sooner. On Sunday we took him to the regular doctor because he's been sick with a cold for a week and now he was pulling on his ears. So, yes we officially have ear infections, just as I suspected. The doctor didn't want to give him antibiotics just yet since they aren't horribly infected but, she said he is probably in pain so give him tylenol and if he starts acting worse to come back.... gotta love those doctors. Anyway, that's all the excitement for the week. Chris is back to work today for four days, Brynn is at school, Parker and I are cleaning house getting ready for my dad to come visit tomorrow!

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun at the zoo and swim lessons. Sorry Parker is sick. At least Dad was home for most of it. Good luck this week.

You HAVE had a busy week! I am glad that Parker's eye is not of huge concern. That is kind of lame that they wouldn't give him anti biotics but-hey- they are the ones that make the big bucks for knowing everything right?? Thanks for the update!!
