Let the races begin

Another week down, Chris goes back to work tonight. YUCK! Oh well, he works four days and then he's on vacation for a month so, I can't complain. We did our normal things, ice skating lessons, swim lessons, and preschool. We went out to the new house yesterday for the home inspection, thankfully nothing horrible is wrong with the house. Just the obvious things, like missing light fixtures, a couple of broken tiles on the roof, that was about the extent of it. We got a chance to look at our new house for awhile and measure all the windows so, we can order some blinds for them. I didn't realize a house could have so many windows! We are having to buy 27 window coverings and at least there were five or six that already had blinds up. Anyway, we looked around, the kids played. We need to get the carpets cleaned and new paint throughout. We thought orginally that we might be able to skip a few rooms on the painting but, looking yesterday, it all needs paint. So, that'll be a huge task! The front and backyard need some landscaping done, since the front yard all the grass is dead, the backyard has never been landscaped so, it's just a big sandbox. Anyway, now that the inspections are done, all we are waiting on is the underwriter of the loan and then the house will be our's! They say for sure by March 6th it will be our's if not sooner! We get to take one more trip to Disneyland next week, yeah we have issues but, since Chris has a month off we planned to go when he signed up for vacation in November. His parents are going to meet us down there to expirence Disneyland with us! It'll be a nice short getaway and we are looking forward to it very much! Well that's all for now!
