Brynn's Seventh Birthday and Easter

Brynn's birthday fell on Easter this year. I wasn't sure if that was going to be a good thing or bad thing. We did her birthday party the weekend before with all of her friends and a few family members. She had a blast. We did her party at the gymnastics place here in town. I have to say out of the seven birthdays she's had this was by far the easiest one ever. The girls at the place did everything! We were able to enjoy watching and taking pictures and enjoying her birthday with her. So awesome. Anyway, on her actual birthday which was Easter. We started off with Easter baskets, egg hunt, Easter brunch and then she opened presents. We played and watched movies most of the day and finished it up with pancakes at Brynn's request and ice cream cake.

It is truely hard to believe my baby girl is seven years old already. Time sure has flown by. She is no longer a baby, no longer a toddler, no longer a preschooler, no longer a kindergartener, she's a real person now. She growing up, she's lost her baby pudge, which I miss terribly, she's replaced it with long lanky limbs. She has an opinion about pretty much everything these days, which is a good thing but, can be very hard to deal with at the same time. She still loves to cuddle with us and be kissed a million times at bedtime. She insists on us calling her by her little nickname she's had forever and gets really frusterated with Parker when he refers to her as Brynn instead of Deedee the name he's called her since he started talking. I am embracing the little kid things she does and welcoming the more big kid things she's learning. Happy Birthday my beautiful Tato!
